Guidelines for scenario building process in metropolitan/regional contexts for long-term digital transport policies & strategies

The deliverable will contain the common template and practical guidelines developed in task 2.2.2 to apply the scenario building approach in the context of DIGNITY. The guidelines will be used as a basis for guidance in the four DIGNITY pilots. According to the information and feedback collected from the pilot cities and regions, the methodology will be finetuned and standardized for exploitation in task 2.3.

Pilot cases evaluation Report

The deliverable will report about the evaluation of the DIGNITY approach carried out in the four pilots in task 42 These evaluations will be carried out against a concrete set of indicators defined by consensus in task 41 and their selected KPIs The outcome will help to understand and improve the applicability of the set of tools and methodologies and for each case study it will give evidence of the barriers and opportunities found and will be a valuable input for further advances ie to scale up demospilot cases

Report on the meso level process (Inclusive Design Wheel)

The deliverable will report about the application of the Universal Design Wheel approach in the DIGNITY pilots carried out in task 32

Report on the macro level process (scenario building)

The deliverable will report about the application of the scenario building approach in the DIGNITY pilots carried out in task 33

Publication 1 - Framing the Gap

The deliverable is the DIGNITY publication titled Framing the Gap which will be drafted under task 55 The publication will present the results of WP1 in a more accessible vibrant and communicative way giving product and service providers transport operators and user associations a detailed overview of the current situation

Interactive catalogue with good examples of mobility products for vulnerable groups, and overview of success factors

The deliverable will report about activities carried out in task 1.3 where existing digital products and services for mobility in Europe will be categorized in a systematic way. The resulting catalogue will then be reviewed using an existing method and tool for estimating exclusion developed by UCAM. Benchmark of factors affecting the use of digital products and services across Europe

The deliverable will summarise the results of task 12 where national surveys will be carried out in five countries Belgium Germany Italy Spain and The Netherlands to gather population level data on user factors that affect peoples use of digital products and services These factors include technology access and use attitudes towards technology familiarity with some common technology symbols and interface patterns and capabilities sensory motor and cognitive The surveys will provide an indication of how these factors are spread across the population

Guidelines for digital gap self-assessment

The deliverable will summarise the results of task 2.1 where a baseline set of information for each pilot summarising the current transport situation at macro, meso and micro level will be collected and used to build a methodology to assess the digital exclusion in a metropolitan/regional context. A common template and practical guidelines will be produced for pilots to frame the digital gap in their local context. The information compiled will be used to finetune the DIGNITY approach (task 2.3), taking into account different context factors and will be used in WP4 to set up a common benchmark/baseline and its parameters to measure impact of the pilot activities.

Guidelines for inclusive-design processes for digital products and services

The deliverable will contain the common template and guidelines developed in task 2.2.1 to apply the Inclusive Design Wheel approach for the specific needs of digital mobility services in the context of DIGNITY. The adapted wheel would be used as a basis for guidance for the pilot co-creation event inputs and activities in the four pilots. According to the information and feedback collected from the pilot cities and regions, the methodology will be finetuned and standardized for exploitation in task 2.3.

Report on the DIGNITY process in the pilots: Four local strategies for an inclusive digital travel eco-system

The deliverable will present the results and direct outputs of the DIGNITY pilot activities gathered in task 34 Each pilot will elaborate macro strategies in the form of a robust regulatory framework and policy action plan from the foresight study as well as micro and meso insights on how to make an inclusive digital productservice concept or prototype Inclusive Design Wheel

Evaluation Guidelines Report

The deliverable will present the evaluation guidelines developed in task 4.1. The guidelines will describe the comprehensive method that will facilitate the assessment of the impact of the DIGNITY approach, its monitoring and the adjustments for its successful implementation and continuous improvement. The assessment criteria and KPI will be agreed with WP3 in cooperation with the pilots and data will be collected at different stages of the project to enable its monitoring. An integrated assessment will be selected for aggregating criteria and comparing experiences in each region/pilot. the data gathering will be taken from end-users and/or other experts, by means of a survey and in-depth interviews (ex-ante and ex-post evaluation tests). Moreover, the introduction of evaluation techniques will be performed according to the analysed needs of each case study, to introduce the techniques considered most appropriate (i.e. cost-benefit, cost-effectiveness, among others).
