It will focus on data management planning, preservation policy, and access policy. It will be delivered in coordination with WP4.
Report on research use casesReport summarising the research use cases and involved collections.
Final evaluation reportIn the last year the partners will evaluate the trans-national access programme by gathering and analysing feedback from the researchers that have participated in the programme. In the final evaluation report the partners will include recommendations for improvements in future trans-national access activities.
Engagement workshops/hackathons with Holocaust researchersWorkshops to engage all stakeholders in the research. Currently planned: (1) Workshop at the WL to evaluate opportunities and obstacle for the ITS to become a digital research space with a focus on policy and legal issues (2) User-facing workshop to engage historians and other research practitioners.
Online document edition on thematic area 2 (to be selected within the project).
Collection description production servicesThe collection production services will be an adaption of an existing open source tool. The production services will have a user-interface to map fields in the output of the archive’s database to those defined in the EHRI metadata guidelines.
Training resources and workshop for the publication of archival descriptionsThese resources will aid and guide archives in the process of mapping internal archival descriptions to publishable descriptions and the process of publishing. It will address options of mapping selection, workflows and publishing formats. The workshop will discuss and present the resources.
Thematic approach 1: edition of documentsOnline document edition on thematic area 1 (to be selected within the project).
Open analysis toolsetA range of tools that can be used by the community to analyse large-scale Holocaust data sets.
Marketplace of digital historiography methods and toolsA community online space to share methods and tools on digital historiography.
Collection description publishing servicesThe collection description publishing services will provide the facilities for archives to publish information about their Holocaust relevant collections on their institutional websites according to standard protocols and the needs of EHRI.
