Objective
The overall objective of the project is the development of a disposable microsystem with integrated optimal extraction and detection for the precise $ accurate quantitation of coeliac disease toxic gluten (CD-toxic gluten sequences of gluten to which coeliac disease sufferers show intorelance) in all types of foodstuffs. A standard universal protocol for extraction of gliadins and glutenins from all food states Enzyme linked assays and biosensors exploiting antibodies, antibody fragments and aptamers will be developed for the detection of CD-toxic gluten in raw, cooked, processed and unprocessed food. Finally, a disposable microsystem with integrated microstructured extraction and biosensoric detection will be developed, validated. All systems will be evaluated by end-users.
