Development of process to produce highly pure CO2

The efforts linked to this project have lead to the development of production and quality assurance procedures, which allow ACP to offer CO2 in cylinders having the required composition for cleaning electronic components. The commercial implementation will heavily depend on the industrial application of cleaning equipment for electronic components using CO2. A preliminary contact has been established with the largest development center for electronic components in Belgium. Pilot scale trials are scheduled for late 2003. The results of this project will be fully utilised to deliver CO2 gas in cylinders for this pilot project.
