Objective
Time-Geography is a set of analytical and modelling methods coupled with a generalising mechanism about the ways humans exploit and manipulate spatially patterned resources. TiGrESS will evaluate Time-Geographical (TG) methods as a mechanism for building the insights needed to integrate sustainability into integrated social, economic and environmental policies, and to identify key pathways towards sustainability. We will do this by means of focussed case studies In contexts of significance to sustainable socio-natural development. These include: fisheries management, urban sprawl and water demand, trans-national demographic change, sustainable agriculture and land planning.
