Dispositivi intelligenti per forze di sicurezza più sicure
Le forze di sicurezza – dalla sicurezza del campus e dalle comunità sorvegliate al personale di pronto intervento e ai militari – affrontano molte sfide quando si trovano alle prese con situazioni di emergenza. Una di queste è l’affidabilità e la sicurezza delle comunicazioni. Il progetto CoP1stRespond, finanziato dall’UE, mira a portare sul mercato una soluzione sviluppata da Globekeeper Tech. Essa ha istituito una nuova piattaforma di comunicazione che utilizza apparecchiature standard ma sfrutta i protocolli di crittografia e scambio più avanzati del settore. Integrando hardware esistente, come dispositivi GPS e altro hardware abilitato al Bluetooth, gli utenti sono in grado di trasmettere video e condividere file importanti. La tecnologia può anche supportare ambienti offline. L’autorità di contrasto Europol ha già adottato questa nuova tecnologia.
Obiettivo
All security forces are facing the following same three challenges when dealing in emergency situations and scenarios: 1) reliable (and secured) communication (intra-team); 2) effective collaboration (inter-team); 3) visibility of personnel (especially inside buildings). These challenges affect Military & Defence; Law Enforcement; First Responders; and Private Security (Executive Protection, Campus Security, and Guarded Communities).
An encrypted communication platform centred around an intuitive collaboration interface, GlobeKeeper’s technology utilises standard equipment to create a secure, end-to-end solution that keeps security personnel safe, reduces costs, and enhances decision making capabilities. GlobeKeeper enables users to transmit live video and streaming, share files, text messages and pictures – all in real time and in a secure environment while using the existing smart devices (iPhones, Androids and tablets that they already have).
In a nutshell, GlobeKeeper want to be the Slack application for security personnel, creating new radios. As such, it harnesses the most advanced encryption and exchange protocols in the industry. By integrating existing hardware, cameras, GPS devices, and other Bluetooth-enabled hardware with secure communication protocols, GlobeKeeper’s system transforms them into essential resources for mission operations, case management, and resource control.
GlobeKeeper is in a league of its own, creating and providing a product that none of its closest competitors are selling presently. GlobeKeeper is the only solution that supports ‘offline environments. GlobeKeeper finished 2018 with 5 customers, ~$1M in bookings and intends to scale to 14+ accounts and $2.5M in sales by Q1 2020. In this respect it should be highlighted that the Europol Law Enforcement Agency is a paying customer of GlobeKeeper. This achievement should not be taken lightly especially due to the fact that GlobeKeeper is relatively small & very young company.
