Report on the process and upscale modelling

In this deliverable a detailed report will be prepared about process and upscale modelling of the developed solid-state batteries from coin to large cells. In this deliverable the focus will be on the impact of the different processing and upscaling parameters.

Battery cell and Material Development Roadmap

Task 8.7 and 8.8. A materials development roadmap towards 2030 goals will be presented that includes: 1) Lithium foil, NMC cathodes and solid electrolyte. Cost assumptions will be made based on the inforamtions of HQ, UMC and SCHT; 2) Cost estimations for the final battery will be made based on materials and anticipated production concepts as well as simulation results.

Evaluation of battery cell and lifetime optimization route

Report on SAFELiMOVE battery cell including lifetime assessment. Detailed findings on TRL and industrialization status.

Recycling study on SAFELiMOVE technologies

The deliverable will document all the actions undertaken to accomplish task 85 First the state of the art of recycling processes relevant for the Safelimove technology will be presented The second part of the deliverable will describe the identified strategies to proper address the end of life of the battery according to state of the art of recycling technology and to insights provided by the LCA activities carried out in task 84 This part will provide estimations and forecasts about recycling threshold which could be reached from theoretical point of view according to material composition of the Safelimove battery Last section of the document will provide an overview of potential market penetration for the considered technologies according to final technical specifications

Dissemination tools (website, flyer, project templates)

To create adoption and positive public awareness through the use of dissemination tools, in order to inform and engage relevant stakeholders.

Newsletters

Comprehensive collection of the electronic newsletters throughout the project time-line, and all other dissemination activities, including targeted audience.

Assessment of developed battery cell

Model based evaluation of the battery in comparison to state-of-the-art chemistries. Lifetime prediction and possible lifetime prolonging measures.

Dissemination plan

The comprehensive dissemination plan will complement the exploitation plan. The plan contains communication measures, activities and tools following the European Commission guide Communicating EU Research and Innovation – A guide for project participants.
