Report on Final Conference

An overview and synthesis of the presentations and findings of the Final Conference on ‘The Effects of ICT and the Role of Digital Skills on Children’s and Adolescents’ Wellbeing in Europe Today’ will be presented in this report.

Report on the effects of ICT use on attention-related cognitive functions measured with ESM and (f)MRI

The findings of the over-time measurement of intensity of ICT use with the Experience Sampling Method (ESM) (Task 4.4) and (functional) Magnetic Resonance Imaging ((f)MRI) (Task 4.5) will be presented in this report.

High-level legal report

Based in the mapping recommendations onto the EU legal and policy frameworks (Task 7.4), a high-level legal report will be presented, detailing how EU policy / legal framework should be revised to advance an evidence-based EU policy and regulatory framework for youth wellbeing in the digital age.

Synthesis of ySKILLS results

All results of the first 32 months of the project will be summarised in this 'Synthesis of ySKILLS results' with both the conceptual insights and empirical findings of WP2-6.

The second policy brief will bring together all recommendations for policy and practices in a concise way

Report on the antecedents and consequences of digital skills

Based on the systematic evidence mapping (Task 2.1), a report will be written on the antecedents and consequences of digital skills. This report will contribute to T2.4 by identifying the (f)actors which shape children’s and adolescents’ digital skills and their outcomes, thereby generating a series of hypotheses and priority research questions, as well as the information needed to critically review the ySKILLS conceptual model and prepare integration of theories.

Comprehensive, evidence-based explanatory and foresight model

Based on the findings of the ABM simulation models, ySKILLS will present a comprehensive, evidence-based explanatory and foresight model predicting the complex impacts of ICT use on cognitive, physical, psychological and social wellbeing of children and adolescents in Europe.

Communication, Dissemination & Exploitation Plan

This document will guide all activities regarding communication, dissemination and exploitation. The plan will be monitored and updated throughout the project (e.g., when new opportunities arise).

Child-friendly illustrated report on the main research results

Based on the 'Synthesis of ySKILLS results' (D7.1), we will present a child-friendly illustrated report on the main research results including the co-design jam protocol - a participatory toolkit for present and future stakeholder use.

Report on (f)actors that explain digital skills acquisition, wellbeing, and the online resilience of children and adolescents

Based on the secondary data analysis of open survey data collected in the past decade on young people’s ICT use, online opportunities, risks, and wellbeing (Task 2.2), a report will be written. The report will give a deeper understanding of the role of social and psychological antecedents, as well as the media access and use variables associated with digital skills acquisition and the consequences of children’s and adolescents’ wellbeing.

Report on skills acquisition among at-risk groups and explanation of the role of skills in vulnerable or at-risk children's and adolescents' wellbeing

The findings of task 61 digital skills practices among lowSES children and adolescents in public libraries will be presented in this report

Policy brief 4

The fourth policy brief will bring together all recommendations for policy and practices in a concise way.

Report on the influence of social structure and networks on online resilience and digital skills

The findings of the analysis of situational variables' influences based on relational data (task 5.2) will be presented in this report.

Report on evidence-based recommendations for policy and practice

The findings of the ySKILLS project will be translated in evidence-based recommendations for policy and practice including the outcomes of both the youth co-design jams in task 7.2 and the expert roundtable in task 7.3. It will be a multimedia format (text, video, infographics).

Data Management Plan

A Data Management Plan (DMP) will be prepared, describing the data management life cycle for all datasets that will be collected, processed or generated by the research project. Detailed information on the procedures for data collection, storage, protection, retention, and destruction will be included, compliant with national and EU legislation. As the DMP is a dynamic plan, it will be updated each year (M5, M18, M30, M42).
