Analysis of the “status quo” of industrial cooling based on solar heat at the demo sites
Analysis of the “status quo” of industrial cooling based on solar heat at the demo sites. This report will summarize the analysis of the industrial processes for the demo sites, in terms of overall cooling demand, working boundary conditions (e.g. distribution temperatures, flow rates, power consumption) as well as dynamic profiles at demand side.
Experimental characterization of the hybrid heat pump moduleExperimental characterization of the hybrid heat pump module. Experimental characterization of the hybrid heat pump module under real operating conditions, to draw a performance map. Testing under off-design severe working conditions and experimental validation of different implemented management strategies.
HyCool project websiteHyCool project website. The website will include news, information, and public deliverables produced by the project.
Validation of the developed model for lab-scale experiments, 50kWh test facility of T 3.4 as well as for the demonstration sitesValidation of the developed model for lab-scale experiments, 50kWh test facility of T 3.4 as well as for the demonstration sites. The aim of the validation is to demonstrate that the model developed is capable of predicting the real-scale behaviour of the different adsorber materials sufficiently to serve as a future guide in the choice of adsorbir.
Requirements: context of application and industrial processes classificationRequirements: context of application and industrial processes classification. This will integrate a synthetic analysis of all the available tools and propose a method/procedure to enhance it and increase their value by applying them in operational contexts. The final method will make it possible to determine which kinds of process and industries can use the system to be developed.
Design review of the hybrid heat pumpDesign review of the hybrid heat pump. Final design review of the full-scale hybrid heat pump according to the obtained experimental outcomes.
HyCool public communication materialsHyCool public communication materials, consisting of a project poster, brochure, annual newsletter and project video during the final project year.
VR/AR Intelligent Training Systems based on a Geolocated BIM models.Technical and market review codes studies, national and European certification frameworks
Technical and market review codes studies, national and European certification frameworks. This report will set specifications to meet basic requirements in compliance with regulations affecting the system designed, managed and operated by HyCool. National regulatory conditions have a direct impact on the post project market uptake and future certification strategy of the different HyCool products.
