Predictions of the effect of preventive measures when applied by fish farmers.Discrete choice experiments DCE have been used in many research fields to elicit preferences of decision makers regarding different products and services They involve the creation of hypothetical scenarios trying to mimic real markets which are defined to answer different research questions Thus it is possible to analyze the effect of important attributes over the outcomes of the experiment to quantify tradeoffs between attributes and to evaluate the willingness to pay for improving the quality of a product or service In our case different skeleton anomalies in form and severity will be defined and used Data will be obtained from a large number of companies and consumers within the consortium and through contacts from FEAP and API DCE provide rich data sources which have been widely used in health economics to evaluate preferences for healthcare products and services they allow researchers to obtain after the application of appropriate modelling methodologies such us discrete choice models merging their financial cost and revenues and their organizational consequences risks and controls to implement It will also provide essential inputs for the main economic evaluation techniques costbenefit analysis CBA and costutility analysis notably when coupled with riskcontrol matrix ULGCEPE

Organisation and participation to the 6th IAFSB conference
ESR1: Based on previous works and open-source tools to identify skeletal features in the head of 9-days old normal zebrafish larvae, we will develop an interactive tool to automatically identify, annotate and quantify skeletal elements in different types of images from fish. The tool will be first calibrated for analysis of normal and deficient zebrafish larvae, before extending to other types of skeletal images (fluorescent, X-ray), also of other species. Tools will be implemented for measuring sizes, relative positions and density of bone elements. Finally, a reporting tool including statistical analysis will be developed. Dissemination of these tools within the consortium and among the wider community will be implemented with the help of CTM
