Educational course

The education activity will be focused on the development of dedicated courses for professionals. Definition of Training Strategy and Training Plan A Training Strategy is devised covering a set of advanced training activities for different collectives aiming at contributing to the professional development of the population concerned. In order to maximise acceptance of the solutions delivered, “human factors” will be considered. It will be followed by a training programme. The Training Plan will be constructed with the inputs of above tasks and the planning of the training programme and its deployment: for the consortium as a whole and for each individual partner. It will be linked to dissemination activities. In order to sum up the “Awareness, dissemination and training” strategy in synergic approach with the other WP’s activity the following scheme has been provided.

2nd version of the Awareness & Dissemination plan.

An awareness and dissemination plan will be made at the beginning of the project (month 6) and will be updated and deployed along the project life and beyond. The different versions of the dissemination plan will include the activities really developed in the project in the previous plan the foreseen ones for the next period. The dissemination plan will contain the following elements: identification and classification of target stakeholders to be addressed; the dissemination methods and their specific associated activities; schedule and complementarily of the dissemination activities among partners; individual dissemination plans; the conditions to ensure proper dissemination of the generated knowledge, related to confidentiality Publication and use of the knowledge.

1st Period report (technical & financial) including monitoring and networking activities

Reporting: management reports and partners audit certificates when necessary. There will be 2 financial and technical reporting periods at: 14, 46 months.

Overview of the legal and political framework at EU level

The work will assess the applicable legal framework at the regional, national and European levels for the deployment of a cross-national PCP. Available information relevant will gather from studies, sentences, results of research projects, pilot and demonstration, policies and reports. Both legislations and applicable standards will be screened.

PCP template

This task will deal with the generation of the required documents and templates suitable for further use in the cross-national PCP call. This will demand a complete understanding of the PCP elements amongst the participants in order to develop a foundation for the PCP call requirements.

Recommendations for future implementation.

The task will identify and propose the key recommendations for policy makers and politicians related with vital regulations and standards that should be developed or abolished to untapped the new opportunities and business cases detected, specifically those that emerge from available or pre-commercial technologies to make business models operation and profitable in short or medium term.

Governance structure, communication flow and methods. Quality Plan

The necessary governance structure for an effective project direction and management will be created within this task. This structure will define roles, responsibilities and activities of the different committees, organisations and people as well as decision rules. Communication flow and methods will be established. The communication flow will be bottom-up and top-down through the typical communication methods such as: meetings, video-conferences, e-mail, phone, fax, Etc. In particular a co-operative working method using the web site will be established. Partners will be able to exchange information from the different WPs and tasks according to their role and responsibilities. Another section will be for meetings, events, seminar, etc. Passwords will be facilitated to all partners and to the EC.

PCP launch and evaluation process Report.

Based on the work performed from the start of the project, and especially during the Task 3.2, with the definition of the Call functional specifications, RESAH will launch on behalf of the 3 organizations composingthe buyer group an open Call for proposal at European/International level. The objective of the call is to receive the maximum of proposal from European Company in order to select the 8 which are addressing the most our needs described in the functional specifications. RESAH will follow the call for proposal phase and ensure smooth proceedings. RESAH will be the organization which will receive the proposal. Once the deadline to submit proposal is reached, the buyer group will analyze the proposal received (WP4 – T4.1).

Market review; stakeholder’s consultation

This task will include interviews and assessments conducted with demand-side stakeholders (test site users and potential users). Suitable interviewees will be identified and approached to obtain agreement for their participation. The aim of the interviews is to gain a comprehensive understanding of the barriers to a faster exploitation of the technology and to the extent that they vary in different European countries. The output will enable analysis of how those barriers may be overcome. The interviews will be conducted by a combination of face to face meetings, video conferences, telephone conversations and e-mail.

Call functional specifications; assessment criteria

This task will deal with the generation of the final PCP document; covering all the aspects: confidentiality, R&D required, budget, awarded solutions, means of publicity, timescale, etc..
