Distributed Media Application Platform and Components: Description of Final Release

The final release will be a functionally complete, mature and robust implementation of the platform, test harnesses and client applications, with a rich set of reference Media Application components to support all of the trials: theatre, MotoGP and football.

Football trial evaluation results

This will probably be a written report, accompanied by rich media (e.g. video/documentary material) to make the trial easy to visualise. In any case the deliverable must serve to describe the Football trial and provide an evaluation of its results. The form of the evaluation cannot be defined yet; it could be user centric, and may be qualitative or quantitative, or it may be market centric and address issues that are more commercial. The form it takes will be determined in T4.1.

Prototype Service Descriptions: Initial version

Description of the user experience for each of the use cases. These use cases will not be equally mature as the delivery date of theatre is sooner than MotoGP, which is in turn sooner than the Football use case. These should be developed in an appropriate form (e.g. textual, storyboard, promotional video) and will provide clear descriptions about what a user will expect to happen. The technical work packages will be able to define requirements and specifications based on these descriptions. The initial descriptions should not be considered ‘gospel’ but are starting points for negotiation.

Final report on dissemination, standardisation and exploitation planning

This deliverable will present the 2-IMMERSE innovation barometer and will report on all dissemination, communication and standardisation actions performed during the project. It will give recommendations for future standardisation contributions. The document will include the final exploitation plan. *Although public (PU), these deliverables WP6 deliverables will contain a confidential (CO) annex for business-critical matters if required (e.g. concrete exploitation plans)

General concepts and ideas for multi-screen interaction

This report will describe a core set of interaction vocabulary and mechanisms for production of, and audience engagement with, integrated broadcast and broadband multi-screen experiences. It will be the result of collaboration between performers, writers, producers, designers, social scientists, audience members and technologists.

Theatre trial evaluation results

This will probably be a written report, accompanied by rich media (e.g. video/documentary material) to make the trial easy to visualise. In any case the deliverable must serve to describe the Theatre trials and provide an evaluation of their results. The form of the evaluation cannot be defined yet; it could be user centric, and may be qualitative or quantitative, or it may be market centric and address issues that are more commercial. The form it takes will be determined in T4.1

Innovation management tools and initial plan for dissemination, standardisation and exploitation

This deliverable will report on the established tools for planning, managing and keeping track of communication, dissemination, standardisation and exploitation activities.
