Big Data Analytics for Time Critical Mobility Forecasting

Aviation use case detailed definition

This deliverable will elaborate the Aviation use case presented in the proposal up to the level needed by the scientific partners working in the architecture and integration tasks. This will include description/specification of: (a) Data sets to be integrated, (b) Metrics used, (c) Events relevant for the use case.

Maritime final validation report

This report culminates the overall objective performing the experiments and driving conclusions on the measured outcome, as far as the maritime domain is concerned. Experiment execution, and evaluation of the results will be documented.

Architecture Specification

Based on the requirements analysis results, and the existing body of knowledge concerning big data architectures, this deliverable will specify the datACRON software architecture. The interaction with the requirements analysis task will also help to identify key interfaces between software components, facilitating their interoperability. Similarly, research in WP2-WP4 will provide input to the architecture specification, in order to attain a coherent overall architecture.

datACRON DMP (2nd Version)

The datACRON Data Management Plan (datACRON DMP) details what data the project will collect, generate, how will be exploited or made accessible for verification and re-use, and how it will be curated and preserved. This is the 2nd version of this deliverable consolidating material from other deliverables towards making a coherent plan.

Maritime experiments specification

This deliverable specifies the experiments to be conducted in detail. The specifications include the dataset to use, the steps to perform, what to measure and the targeted values. The document will specify all the details needed to perform the experiments in a rigorous and repeatable way: What exactly will be measured and how, thresholds defining good or bad results, will be included.

Software Design (interim)

This deliverable specifies the first version of the datACRON integrated prototype system design, based on the requirements defined in T1.1 and the overall architecture specified in T1.2.. The task has two iterations. This is the result of the first iteration. The second design iteration focuses on the integration with WP2-WP4.

Project website, wiki, social media channels

This deliverable will present the project website, wiki and social media accounts be maintained and exploited to gather and disseminate all the information related to Project. These communication chammels will facilitate direct feedback and discussions with experts or other parties.

Requirements Analysis

This deliverable will defines requirements for the datACRON integrated system, by also considering the different data sources and the detailed use case scenarios described in Tasks 5.1 and 6.1 Each requirement will be formally specified with validation criteria (preferably quantified validation criteria); also linked to research objectives in WP2-WP4, and defining the core integration hotspots between work packages.

Evaluating VA methods in several scenarios and workflows

This deliverable reports on the evaluation methods and results achieved by evaluating the VA methods developed in tasks T4.1-T4.4 in corresponding usage scenarios with appropriate categories of professional users.

Specifically, multiple, heterogeneous and disperse datasets are expected to be used in maritime use case validation. This will include: (a) Data sets to be integrated, (b) Performance metrics, specifically focused on the enhancement of an operational capability, (c) Definition of a taxonomy of anomalies at sea, (d) Development of an integrated air-maritime scenario and use case in collaboration with WP6.

Project handbook

This deliverable documents the main project procedures. These procedures will be presented and agreed at the kick-off meeting chaired by the coordinator.

Training Report (final)

This deliverable reports on datACRON training actions, which will include training of students and researchers and will encompass the organization of educational courses and workshops. A first version of this deliverable is delivered in M18.

This is the 1st version of this deliverable. The next and the final versions of the datACRON DMP will consolidate material from other deliverables towards making a coherent plan.

Ethics management plan

This deliverable details or ethical issues concerning datACRON and how these will be managed by consortium partners. Specifically, this deliverable will address A. All ethics issues described in section 5.1. of part B, in this Description of Action B. Issues regarding humans: • Details on the procedures and criteria that will be used to identify/recruit the professional end users. More specifically, information on how the consortium will reach these participants (own network, web announcement, social media, press release...), how the potential participants will be gratified (if any gratification is planned), what will be the burden for them if they accept to participate. • Detailed information on the informed consent procedures that will be implemented. • Templates of project related information sheets and consent forms. These documents must include information in language understandable to the field tests participants as regard to their right to withdraw at any time without any harm being done to their and their careers. Material stating the perimeter, nature, usage, potential commercial reuse of their personal or other collected data must be included. C. Issues regarding protection of personal data: • Potential privacy risks related to noise reduction processes. • The integration of privacy by design within the process. • Identification and documentation of the licensing options (creative commons, etc...). • Detailed information on the procedures that will be implemented for data collection, use and reuse, consent, storage, protection, retention, destruction, and how the professional users will be consented. • Measures to ensure continued compliance with national and EU legislation on data protection. D. Issues regarding dual use: • Assessment, documentation and mitigation of mission/function creep risks.

Integrated prototype evaluation report

This deliverable will report on evaluation results from the integrated datACRON software prototype against the validation criteria collected in T1.1. The task will start from M13 (to give early results to the integration task) and will run evaluation cycles in order to provide feedback to the overall system and to different components development activities. This deliverable is constantly updated from M18 to M36.
