On-demand production of entirely customised minimally invasive medical devices

CORDIS provides links to public deliverables and publications of HORIZON projects.

Links to deliverables and publications from FP7 projects, as well as links to some specific result types such as dataset and software, are dynamically retrieved from OpenAIRE .

Deliverables

Marker printing module

With this deliverable the assembly of the marker printing module is finished and all functions of this submodule are implemented. The module can be presented to the public in the dissemination activities.

Coating module

With this deliverable the modifications of the coating module are finished and all functions of this submodule are implemented. The module can be presented to the public in the dissemination activities.

Laser ablation module

With this deliverable the assembly of the laser ablation module is finished and all functions of this submodule are implemented. The module can be presented to the public in the dissemination activities.

Operational OPENMIND system

All modules (hardware, software, metrology) are implemented and the overall system is operational. The overall system can be presented to the public.

Image acquisition solution for FRP profiles

With this deliverable the design of the dedicated image acquisition systems for their respective modules (pullwinding, laser ablation, printing, coating) is finished and their functionality has been demonstrated.

Implementation of overall control system (HMI) including graphical user interface (GUI)

Based on the control architecture (D10.1) and the sum of all control parameters of the sub modules an overall human machine interface (HMI) will be developed to control all parameters. This includes the implementation of the graphical user interface GUI as visible part of this HMI.

Dissemination kit

Dissemination kit: Design and production of dissemination material (logo, templates, fact-sheet, project presentation, leaflet, poster) with a unified “look and feel”, establishing a “strong” project identity. The leaflet - presenting the main objectives of the project, the consortium, the activities and results - will be released at M3 to be distributed to national and international events as well as to the local workshops and the international conference.

Software for parameter selection

To support the machine operator and to drastically simplify and accelerate the process development, this deliverable comprises the proper software. This software will be able to be fully integrated into the process chain and handle all possible kind of product and process variations. It will therefore be able to deliver automatically the best process setup for a specifically requested personalised product.

Dissemination plan after project end

Definition of additional dissemination actions after the project end. It will contain the detailed report describing the dissemination activities in the third project year, the relevant impact and the results of the final workshop.

Defined demonstrator device incl. personalised requirements

For a proper demonstration of the whole adapted pullwinding process, a demonstrator device (final product) will be defined. This demonstrator is necessary to verify and validate the results of the whole project. Along with the demonstrator a clear definition of the requirements for personalised application are needed and input for the respective process parameters will be given. The defined demonstrator and individual requirements will be chosen by the partners and especially the final user to deliver a realistic, commercially feasible product.

Dissemination and exploitation plan for the second project year

Definition of dissemination plan for the second project year with special focus on scientific and industrial oriented dissemination and use and transfer of results for the second year. It also contains the detailed review describing the dissemination activities in the first project year and the relevant impact.

Dissemination and exploitation plan for the third project year

Definition of dissemination plan for the third project year with special focus on scientific and industrial oriented dissemination and use and transfer of results for the third year. It also contains the detailed review describing the dissemination activities in the second project year and the relevant impact.

Initial communication and dissemination plan for the first project year

Definition of dissemination plan for the first project year with special focus on scientific and industrial oriented dissemination and use and transfer of results. The plan will identify specifically the target groups, the dissemination actions to be performed, performance indicators to measure the impact of dissemination actions and additional content to be created.

Project website

The project web site on a .EU domain will be created, maintained and regularly updated. It will offer general information about the project, its partners and FoF H2020 Programme news. It informs about events and activities of the project as well as other relevant news on project topics. The website is used for dissemination towards stakeholders and for public dissemination. If requested different levels of access to project content will be provided.

Project video

"The video provides an overview of the project. It will be published on ""Youtube"", linked on the Web and social pages to target a general audience. The video will be used in different dissemination opportunities such as exhibitions and workshops to present the OpenMind project."

Implementation of exemplarily ordering system

An exemplarily web interface is set-up for demonstrating the options for configuring a customised product manufactured by the new OPENMIND process chain. The web interface is publicly accessible via the project web page.
