The Global Model will have been improved by use of the results of the validation experiments, and will have been extended by allowing for more generic laser power distributions and more complex geometries, to be specified by the consortium. The thermal solver may be adapted to account for three-dimensional heat transfer in the mandrel and/or in the composite substrate if deemed necessary, depending on the experimental validation results. This deliverable is linked to task 3.4.
Report on Advanced LCC model based on R&M analysisReport on advanced LCC model based on R&M analysis. Report on advanced models for Life Cycle Cost prediction and assessment focusing in particular on failure and maintenance related contributions, including methodologies for bottom-up analyses, starting from components features up to the lifespan cost of the overall system, and the possibility to compare different maintenance scenarios. This deliverable is linked to task 7.3.
Creation of an ambliFibre Stakeholder GroupIn the deliverable for the creation of an ambliFibre Stakeholder Group the formation of this group will be outlined. This group will contain organisations which will be prospective customers and end users for the materials and technologies developed in the project and so will be the first option for exploitation of the intellectual property outside the consortium. This deliverable is linked to task 9.3.
Report on pilot scale production stabilityD.8.4: Deliverable D.8.4 will contain a report on production stability. Therefore the cycle time stability and the quality stability of products manufactured using the ambliFibre system will be evaluated and/or estimated based on the results of D.8.3 and D.8.2 as well as of D.2.1 and D.6.3. In the report the ideal processing situation will be described and compared to the results acquired in the upstream project and to statistical differences and instabilities in the process chain e.g. because of the differences in the raw stock material. This deliverable is linked to task 8.4.
LCA Technical Report and Sustainability Product DeclarationThe full LCA technical report will be developed according to D.7.4 guidelines; it will be organised to be ready for a possible third party verification to address the sustainability product declaration issue. The report will provide all details concerning goal and scope definition, with specific regard to the considered functional unit (e.g. mechanical performance requirements that will be defined) and system boundaries of the considered technology, then taking into account main aspects as, for instance, tape systems, polymers, fibres, liner materials, laser and optical devices, other machines (e.g. winding machines). Inclusions and exclusions respect to the system boundaries will be justified. Testing phases may also be considered if affecting the whole environmental performance. Data quality requirements and comparison criteria of the Life Cycle Inventory phase will be discussed as well, with a focus on collected primary data and their representativeness for the considered system. The Life Cycle Impact Assessment and the Interpretation phases will finally provide a transparent dissertation about environmental indicators both in terms of results discussion and their methodological background. The step forward for the Sustainability Product Declaration will be designed according to ISO 14025, merging environmental, social and economic aspects of the project to provide a comprehensive picture of the technology for dissemination purposes. Specific indicators will be defined and properly described for most relevant aspects, to provide a clear description of sustainability performance. This deliverable is linked to task 7.5.
After adjustment of data interfaces and mechanical interfaces the systems and software developed in WP2-5 will be integrated into an entire machine setup. This deliverable will describe the adjustment actions and will finally result in a tape winding demonstrator machine with mechanically integrated laser optics, infrared camera, non-destructive montioring device. The control of all the subsystems will be connected to the entire machine conrtol. Required safety measurements like emergency stops will work properly. Finally the functunal HMI will be running and allow the communication between the machine set-up and operator. This deliverable is linked to task 6.1.
The deliverable will be two intermediate workshop meetings for a selected group of participants as well as one final open exploitation workshop. This deliverable is linked to task 9.4.
Video of integral industrial ambliFibre winding systemDeliverable 8.4 will be a digital simulation video of the 3D model of the flexible industrial ambliFibre turnkey system built up in D.6.4. This video will be show virtually how the system can wind continuously thermoplastic FRP products as well as how it can wind discontinuously pressure vessels. This video will also present how the machine changeover from continuous to discontinuous production can be made by two operators and how an operator can interact with the system. Essential system technology and their arrangement will be presented in this video which can be used as a technology commercial for the project results after the project. This deliverable is linked to task 8.4.
WebsiteIn this deliverable the project website which will be developed, set-up and maintained by FhG-IPT will be described. Furthermore this deliverable will describe the preparation of a visual identity carried out by MACH4. By means of the preparation of templates for posters, flyers, brochures, PowerPoint presentations and the creation of and reporting documents the visual identify will be realized. These templates will be part of the deliverable. This deliverable is linked to task 9.2.
TThe running HMI software which can be used and which is able to call all functionalities of the tape winding system and which allows all required settings and finally the tracking and storing of process data for the laser-assisted tape winding system including all the necessary safety measurements (defined in D.1.2) tested at Fraunhofer IPT will be the deliverable. The description will highlight the reduced complexity for the operator when operating the system. This deliverable is linked to task 2.5.
