Risultati finali
The reports summarises all templates for reporting, deliverables and communication activities and explains how reports and deliverables have to be produced
BWR simulations of decay heat managementAfter finishing the preparation of the BWR simulator several operational and transient simulations with respect to the ATHLET-calculations done by Venker will be carried out.
Mechanical/thermal stressesDocumentation of the thermal and mechanical stresses for the parts of the turbo-machine (rotating parts and casing).
Data of simple CO2 experiment for code validationDelivery of experimental data of different test configurations of the compact heat exchanger will be provided to validate the CFD code for high and low temperature applications.
Report of articles published in scientific and technical journals and presentations given at conferencesThe reports lists all publications made during the lifetime of the project including their abstracts.
Release design requirements (connections, flanges, installation of components)In collaboration with WP1 a specification of all necessary glass model modifications will be written. The specification will describe the mechanical and control system changes. A safety concept, safety valve and CO2 Alarm is required
Release thermodynamic cycle parameterList of all necessary data of the glass model, like steam temperature, pressure, flow, and the transferred power.
Release documentation of preparation glass modelWith collaboration of WP1 a specification of the necessary glass model modifications will be written. The specification will describe the mechanical and control system changes to invite offers for both manufacturing of components and installation.
Dissemination, communication and exploitation plan (annually updated), including updates of activities undertaken in Task 5.2 to 5.6The report will be the guidance for the partners regarding the protection and exploitation of results, the procedures and objectives of a targeted dissemination as well for the communication towards the wider public. The report will sum up the background of the project and provide a disclosure procedure for the evaluation of the patentability of IPRs. The report will updates once per year with information regarding the published articles (T5.2), glass model visits and training courses (T5.3), the IPRs (T5.4), the use of the project’s web site (T5.5) and promotions (T5.6)
Start-up system hardwareDescribing the start-up system of the cycle and manufacturing drawings. In case the hardware is an integral part of the turbomachinery the delivery contains sketches only.
Release test program glass modelTest program for the glass model shall include all scenarios with loss of internal power of reactor model. The test program will be based on safety analyses performed in WP 1, according to deliverable D3-1.3.
Basic experiments and verification of operation of heat exchanger will be performed. Based on experimental results performance maps will be created. Then the heat exchanger will be shipped to GfS.
Sink heat exchanger hardwareSpecification of operating conditions will be presented in detail. Technical requirements of the heat sink exchanger will be determined by preliminary calculations. Consequently, the heat exchanger will be purchased (if affordable on the market) or manufactured, based on the technical assessment.
Compact heat exchanger hardware to be attached to the glass model at GfSDelivery of the compact heat exchanger hardware to be installed into the glass model at Gfs.
UDE will organise and prepare the project’s kick-off meeting. It will allow all partners (scientific, management and administrative/financial staff) meeting together and clarifying actual procedures within the research activities.
Final conferenceAt the Final Conference, ReGround will present its achievements to both the public and the interested scientific community.
Shipping of turbo-machine set to CV RezThe hardware of the turbo-machine set including the start-up system shall be shipped to CV Rez. The hardware does not include the connecting piping between the start-up system neither the integration piping into the CV Rez system.
Shipping of turbo-machine set to GfSTurbo-machine set will be tested and a basic measurement to obtain the necessary experimental data will be performed. Then the facility will be shipped to GfS.
Training scenarios will describe the behaviour of the glass model with implementation of the sCO2-HeRo during appropriate transients. These training scenarios will be incorporated into an overall training program as a part of complementary element to safety/security seminars dedicated to students and PhD candidates.
Public websiteThe public web site covers the communication of progress and results, of events and news from the project towards the wider public
