Nitrogen removal options will be compared, also with conventional processes for resources (energy, footprint, chemicals) and performances (removal, stability, flexibility, sludge production).
Decision support for finding the appropriate resource and energy optimized SDE treatment technologyFinal recommendations / guidelines of POWERSTEP based on a decision tool and model results, using few simple key factors depending on the WWTP characteristics, comparison of tested options with conventional processes for resources (energy, footprint, chemicals, products) and performances (removal or recovery, process stability and flexibility).
