Report of Briefing Meeting to inform MEPs and European Officials on Arctic topics of emerging priority (T7.3)

A policy briefing will be organised for MEPs and European officials on topics of emerging priority, relevant to Arctic PASSION’s work and in line the European Arctic policy. Topics will be set in communication with policymakers and our Advisory Panel, and the interactive briefing (held either in person or online) will include opportunity for prior input and follow-up

Report on the interoperability status of Copernicus services in light of EU regulations and Polar Data System Architecture (T2.4)

Lake Ice Service readiness report (T4.8)

A report describing the status of the Lake Ice Service system

Applications for GEO initiative to GEO Program Board (T8.1)

The deliverable will provide the gathered information on Arctic PASSION actions in a document that is necessary for SAON to apply for the GEO initiative status

Disturbance map for panarctic, INTERACT sites, and WP4 local communities with permafrost disturbance trends from EO data (T4.2)

Digital maps of disturbances at different levels (panarctic, INTERACT sites, WP4 local communities) will be made available through open access archives and a dedicated data visualization portal allowing access and usage of the maps and underlying data for scientific and non-scientific users.

Report on Side Event at Arctic Council SAO meeting with AC WGs and PPs (T7.2).

A briefing will be organized as a side event at meetings of AC Senior Arctic Officials for Chairs and Executive Secretaries of the six AC Working Groups as well as representatives of the PPs on the outcomes of Arctic PASSION work. The topics will be selected based on priority issues in the Arctic Council, particularly those under the AC chairmanship

1. Policy Brief for Sub-national Decision-makers (T7.4)

Policy brief for sub-national decision-makers produced annually, with an overview of linkages between Arctic observation systems and sub-national level of policy-making.

Description of a versatile benefit assessment approach and arctic resilience societal indicators for the Arctic observation system (T5.1)

A report will describe the tool cluster based on alternative context-sensitized coherent valuation approaches and describe what tool selection will be activated for different cases. The report will further include the outcomes of virtual workshops with PS participants and their stakeholders
