The Final Symposium of the RESFOOD project will take place on 27 October in Brussels, Belgium.

Many natural resources are wasted during food production and processing (especially by producers and end-users) due to lack of technology solutions and knowledge. The RESFOOD event will present the ready-to-market technological solutions, practices and management strategies across crop cultivation, fresh food processing and waste valorisation developed during the three-year RESFOOD project. It will include a brokerage session addressing the upcoming Horizon 2020 call on food security, sustainable agriculture and forestry with the aim of presenting a number of project ideas and supporting consortium building.
The conference is the closing event of the FP7-funded RESFOOD project and is organised in collaboration with Food for Life and the Water Supply and Sanitation European technology platforms.
