Project description
An interactive digital solution for smart signs
The emergence of smart solutions applied to smart cities and buildings, and museums and malls as well as public transport stations, has created new signage needs. Users and consumers need to be informed, welcomed and provided with assistance services. In this new reality, welcoming, assisting and informing people, as well as proposing the right services, makes interactive digital signage instrumental. The EU-funded Totem Spoon project will develop the next generation of interactive digital signage with emotional intelligence by creating a personal assistant with “humanlike traits”. The solution will be placed in areas where people need specific and reliable information, guidance and assistance services.
Objective
SPooN is developing the next generation of interactive digital signage by creating a “humanlike” personal assistant called Totem Spoon located in places where people need welcoming or assistance. From connected cities to connected buildings, malls to museums, private or shared vehicles to public transports, each of these markets share one need: welcome people, exchange, assist, provide the relevant information, connect with the right service.
