Deliverables
Key information for media on the NEWCOMERS project (objectives, actions, partners…gathered for the general and sectoral media. Available on Our-Energy.eu digital platform.
NEWCOMERS project newsletter 1A first printed NEWCOMERS project newsletters will be produced at the end of the first year. It will be distributed at main project events, at conferences and other networking opportunities.
Energy literacy for energy communities handbookApp 16 to max 24 pages welldesigned handbook concisely written and supported with infographics defining the basic principles and offering key credible data about energy sources production storage and use energy systems etc relevant for energy communities and other interested stakeholders
NEWCOMERS project leafletAn informational leaflet with basic info on the NEWCOMERS project, objectives, partners, key actions and planned results.
NEWCOMERS project newsletter 2A second printed NEWCOMERS project newsletter will be produced at the end of the second year It will be distributed at main project events at conferences and other networking opportunities
Based on the national reports prepared for D3.1, a comparison will be done with a particular focus on how polycentric settings influence the emergence of new energy communities.
Synthesis reportThis deliverable will synthesize insights from WPs 2 to 6 ie synthesize the findings from the analysis on both the national level and the local case studies to identify the regulatory institutional and sociotechnical environments in which best practices find the best conditions for upscaling and a wider diffusion Also barriers for upscaling and a wider diffusion will be identified
Potential of energy communities to increase energy literacy, attitudes, perceptions and support for the energy transition among members and in the general publicThe report will summarize the findings of qualitative study and online survey with selected energy community members and elicit key success factors for new forms of energy communities
Mapping of national polycentric settingsThe national mappings will focus on the national institutional framing (including policies and regulations) for supply, demand and storage of demand and supply, actors involved in the system, technology and fuel mix and transition paths undertaken so far. One report that summarizes the results from the mapping will be delivered.
Theoretical framework focusing on learning in polycentric settingsThe framework provides the underpinning of the research, including key concepts and definitions as well as research propositions in order to enhance the project’s coherence.
Barriers and inhibiting factors for the dissemination of new forms of community energy (from members perspective and based on citizen survey)The report will identify target groups of citizens that are most likely to participate in and benefit from energy communities and identify key success factors for energy communities
NEWCOMERS project energy literacy contact baseList of multidisciplinary experts interested in raising energy literacy of energy communities and interested European citizens and in this way supporting a factbasedsciencebased energy transition goal at least 30 active experts to be involved
Policy recommendations based on co-creation processThis final deliverable will distill the final set of policy recommendations for policy makers at the European and national level based on Tasks 71 to 73 ie based on the insights from the scientific analysis and the summary reports of the local stakeholder dialogues
Final report based on case studies and prospects for DER in new energy cooperativesSummary reports of each case study based on deliverables 41 to 45 and a discussion of the prospects for developing each type of business model with its mix of actors DER knowledge and skills regulatory environment For feeding into the final synthesis report
Comparative analysis of case study results (WPs 4, 5, 6) and identification of best practicesThis deliverable will summarize insights from WPs 4 5 and 6 identify best practices and assess their potential for upscaling and a wider diffusion
Potential for learning between polycentric settingsAll insights of WP 3 will be summarized with respect to which polycentric settings will encourage (or hinder) certain energy communities to emerge.
Report on cross-country citizen surveyThe report will present the differences across the countries with respect to knowledge attitudes preferences perceptions and behaviours with regard to new forms of energy communities
Typology of clean energy communitiesThe typology of clean energy communities provides analytical clarification and structure in order to facilitate the synthesis of research findings.
Benefits for community members in terms of increased access to clean, secure and affordable energy / Potential to reduce energy povertyThe report will present the findings of the in-depth interviews with energy community members carried out with selected case studies.
Daily electricity production and use of members in selected new clean energy communitiesThe report will present the findings of the analysis of electricity production and use data from selected case studies
Success of interventions to stimulate conservation behaviour and load shifting in new clean energy communitiesThe report will summarize the findings of several randomized controlled trials that will be carried out with selected case study communities
Webdocumentary on NEWCOMERS project and the roleimpact of clean energy communities for EU energy transition including video recordings infographics and other NEWCOMERS project highlights
Our-Energy.eu digital platform (Phase 2)Our-Energy.eu digital platform (Phase 2) will integrate value-added content from other EU funded projects on energy communities. This will represent a new approach, an EU citizen focused and topically oriented cross-promotion of several EU funded energy community research projects.
Our-Energy.eu digital platform (Phase 1)Our-Energy.eu digital platform (Phase 1) will be the NEWCOMERS project webpage, offering the project key content and at the same time will also provide an interactive digital educational, awareness-raising and networking web tool for energy communities and interested EU citizens.
