D4.2 is a paper that reports on the research carried, as was described under Task 4.1 and 4.2 about protection issues in Turkey. Like in the Greek case, also here, protection issues at and inb the area behind the borders, established hotspot or camps and urban areas are part of the report.

Paper: Mapping the political economy of entry governance

Deliverable 1.3 will be a paper with the outcomes of the desk research desctibed under Task 1.3, on the political economy of entry governance in the EU by Aalborg U.

Chapter on protection of migrants on the way

D52 relates to Task 51 where data are gathered and Task 52 where data are analysed and described in a report This is a summarizing chapter on protection of migrants on the way by DRC in line with the overall report on Protection in WP4 This is a separate deliverable but for the website it will be added to the overall WP4 report on Protection

Paper: Overview of the different existing exit regimes in Europe

Deliverable 21 is a paper that reports on the research that was described under Task 21 As described under Task 21 a first inventory will be made of the different existing exit regimes in the EU fed by data from an alreday ongoing ERC project The Social Life of State Deportation Regimes also led by Kalir at the UvA Existing models will be assessed

Policy brief on Indicators of Good Migration Governance

Paper about Protection issues and front and back stage situation on Greece

D41 will be a paper reporting on the research described under Task 41 and 42 for the case study on Greece The report will have a section on structures of reception such as the hotspots and municipal camps in the North Aegean island of Lesvos and the backstage situation for instance in the capital of Lesvos

Paper Indictors applied piloted in 3 countries

This report relates to task 72 The identified new indictors will be piloted in Spain Belgium and the Netherlands Consultations will also be conducted with key knowledgeable individuals at the international UN etc level After these consultations and the pilot a finalised list of indictors and guidance notes will be delivered

Paper: Exit on the ground: case studes

This deliverable is a paper that will report on the outcomes of the research as described under Task 2.2, describing Exit in Denmark, the Netherlands, Germany and Spain.

This deliverable is the fourth case study on Mali related to Task 61 Both the first results of the survey and those on the indepth interviews are part of the report

D2.3 deliverable is a paper that reports on the research described under Task 2.3 regarding Frontex and private and non-state actors.

Deliverable 1,2 will be the paper with the outcomes of the research described under Task 1.2 in which land (Poland), sea (Greece) and airborders (Schiphol airport) are studied from a bottom up perspective.

The final report on Indicators of good Migration Governance will come with criteria for good migration governance based on a combination of literature and earlier attempts to formulate indicators plus the additions that were suggested in the work packages and by experts The report will include a list of indicators and guidance notes how to use them

Deliverable 26 is the WP 2 final report as described under Task 26 It will be compiled by UvA to evaluate and conclude the information gathered in this WP including suggestions for a realistic safer more orderly and humane EU exit regime

Paper on camp setting and informal settlements in Lebanon

Delivirable D43 is a paper with the results of the research that is described under Task 43 It focusses on the accommodated that are provided for refugees in camps and in urban or semiurban settings

WP3 Final Report on Circular and Temporary Schemes

This deliverable is the final report of WP3 as described under Task 33 To identify best practices and build recommendations on potential future schemes A comparative report will particularly pay attention to the good governance of circular labor schemes

This is the first case study Turkey of Task 61 about the relationship between development interventions and migrant decisionmaking both on the initial decision to migrate or return decisionmaking factors but also on decisionmaking in transit countries or countries of first reception Both the first results of the survey and those on the indepth interviews are part of the report

Paper: state-of-the-art report

D3.1 is a paper with the outcomes of the research described under Task 3.1 It will provide an inventory of existing labour immigration schemes in the EU member states,

State of the art paper offering detailed guidelines for the development of new indicators of migration governance, which will lay the ground for the next stage

This report provides a basis for what good migration governance is (Task 7.1) and in which direction the indicator development needs to take. It is led by CIDOB with input from U. Maastricht and ULB. CIDOB will (building on previous work and specifically the work of Maastricht University for the OECD and UNDP/JMDI) (i) conduct extensive research into key issues related to migration governance and (ii) they will sift through the existing synthetic measures and scoring models of migration governance, pinpointing their main strengths and weaknesses vis-à-vis the recent scenario of human mobility. The output of this WP will be a “state-of-the-art” report offering detailed guidelines for the development of new indicators of migration governance, which will lay the ground for the next stage.

Paper: Sustainable re-integration

This deliverable D2.4 is a paper that reports on the research as described under Task 2.4 which includes both the interviews with voluntary and involuntary returnees as well as a conclusion on how their situation, their safety and security can be monitored.

WP1 Final Report on Entry

Deliverable 1.4 is a report in which the information of WP1 is merged and where ULB will go a step futher as described in Task 1.4 by not just describing but also evaluating the existsing entry governance practices, giving criteria for sustainable entry governance, and designing indicators.

WP5 Report Protection needs of migrants on the way

D51 is an elaborate report on the 4 Mi survey outcomes focussing at Protections needs of migrants on the way as related to Task 51 data gathering and Task 52 analysis and reporting It will be written by at the DRC office in Geneva It will focus on the data gathered for this project and the experiences of the migrants that were interviewed in Greece and Italy but involve also some wider information from the 4Mi dataset
