Preliminary API specifications will be given to the Integrated Application Toolbox developers in WP4.
Dissemination and outreach report Year 1Comprehensive report on all the dissemination and outreach related activities (including training) of the technical, pedagogical and business Work Packages in the first project year.
Final demonstration and report on large-scale pilotsFinal Deliverable on all aspects of the large-scale pilot activity of Up2U.
Security, privacy and identity roadmap(Type: ORDP) The first comprehensive security, privacy and identity roadmap for the Up2U ecosystem. Recommendations for an executable implementation plan will be made.
Summary of learning scenarios, pedagogical aspects and social innovationThis Deliverable will report on the results of the application of learning analytics models and tools, of the social interactions analytics and of the natural language processing library collected and adapted to serve these analyses.
M18 project report, IPR issues and external liaisons overviewReport on the overall progress and achievements of the project within the first 18 project months. This Deliverable includes the IPR issues identified and an overview of the partners’ external liaison activity.
Learning community interactions reportThis report will include a description of the informal and formal tools integrated in the toolbox version 2, from the point of view of the learning community. It will also include a second step of critical observations, emerging from the second stage of the pilot application in schools, and it will consolidate and communicate the lessons learnt during the pilot use of the tools in schools.
Tool integration reportThis report will comprise a description of the informal and formal tools integrated in the application toolbox and the adaptations needed to make this integration. Furthermore, it will evaluate the technical aspects associated with the application toolbox and the lessons learnt during the deployment of the tools in schools. This final Deliverable will contain the finalised set of tools, including tools for capturing the work of learners, tools for assessment and learning analytics tools.
Interaction model designThis Deliverable will describe and analyse Up2U’s pedagogical principles and policy, analytical descriptions of the user roles, actions, social interactions, automated mediated actions, a preliminary model of the expected external interactions (for modelling support to the development of the API) and a set of suggestions and recommendations for the graphic user interface development.
Final project report, IPR and external liaisons summaryFinal report on the overall progress and achievements of the project, covering the duration of the project. This Deliverable includes a full summary of IPR issues that have arisen and of the external liaison activity that has taken place.
Final dissemination and outreach summaryClosing report on all the training, dissemination and outreach related activities and achievements of the project.
Enhanced application toolbox and technical specificationsThis enhanced prototype will improve the design defined in D4.1, aligning the graphical user interface or the API with Up2U’s pedagogical principles refined by WP5. Technical specifications and API definitions will be made available publicly for tool developers and integrators.
Dissemination and outreach report Year 2Comprehensive report on all the dissemination and outreach related activities (including training) of the technical, pedagogical and business Work Packages in the second project year.
Report on the first release and demonstration of scalable pilot servicesThis report will assess the scalability aspects of the first extension of the pilots to a larger set of potential schools in the participating 7 European counties.
Final cloud platform overview including delivery and access to network, storage and contentThe final Deliverable of this Work Package will include a summary of the cloud platforms and the final API specifications both between clouds and between clouds and applications.
Analysis of Up2U ecosystem and existing business modelsThis Deliverable will summarise the existing business models that deliver result in the higher education and research context and their potential application to the given learning scenario and Up2U ecosystem.
(Type: DEM) This Deliverable will focus on cloud interoperability and cross-silo service harmonisation aspects of the file based sync and share platforms, primarily covering the community-led Open Cloud Mesh protocol development.
Application toolbox design and prototype(Type: DEM) This Deliverable will describe and analyse the learning data recorded and the format used for it, the graphical user interface aligned with Up2U’s pedagogical principles, and the API that tools will use to access to the cloud infrastructure’s and other tools’ capabilities. The first working prototype of the toolbox will be capable of hosting the tools initially selected by the project.
Open Educational Resource aggregation and exposure platform enhancements(Type: DEM) This Deliverable will include the main developments of the OER content and metadata aggregation and exposure service component in terms of new features and capabilities supporting the Integrated Application Toolbox.
Assessment of the roadmap adoption in the project(Type: DEM) The final Deliverable will be a technical demonstration of the level of adoption of the security roadmap recommendations in the project and will also look beyond the lifetime of the project.
Initial pilot architecture, software component integration, and deployment(Type: DEM) This Deliverable will include the initial pilot setup, including the 32 schools explicitly mentioned in the proposal. The scalability aspects of the initial pilots will be carefully analysed.
(Type: DEC) This early online planning document will include the strategic communication goals and objectives of the project, and summarise the web design principles and plans for the first set of project events.
Draft plan for sustainability and exploitationThis Deliverable will give a detailed overview of the sustainability and exploitation opportunities of the project including a detailed SWOT analysis and risk assessment in coordination with WP7.
Subject Matter Committee and training plans(Type: DEC) This online Deliverable will describe the composition of the SMC appointed by the project and the training programme plan on a dedicated web page.
Analysis of network services requirementsThis report will include a detailed analysis of the network requirements of the project and the availability of eduroam at the initial pilot schools and locations (museums, libraries, labs, public places) planned to be covered by the formal and informal learning scenarios.
Report on the large-scale pilot services, essential features and their improvementsThis report will analyse the success factors and recognised risks of the large-scale piloting activity of the project. Input to the sustainability activity will be given.
Up2U business modelsUser scenarios, use-cases, business models and cost benefit analyses will be published in this Deliverable.
Skills report and training updatesA first report based on trial usage of the first prototype, identifying the critical issues emerging from the first pilot study in schools. The report will interact with WP4 consolidating refinements and recommendations for the next iteration of the software product to be made in WP4. A summary and analysis of training held by the project will also be included.
This initial study will investigate the actual landscape and set the targets and priorities for the activity. It also provides input for the Open Research Data Pilot.
