Optimum processing flow sheets for selective Sc leaching from BR

This deliverable details the publishable results achieved in leaching BR with mineral acids, ionic liquids and physico-chemical processing. At least three scientific publications in peer reviewed journals are expected. An intermediate report is expected in M15

Publishable report on electrolytic Sc and Al-Sc alloy production methods at high temperatures

This deliverable describes the publishable results achieved in Task 42 of this WP including all relative scientific publications of involved partners at least 2 are expectedAn Intermediate report is foreseen in Month 24

International Communication Activities

Environmental, health and safety controls that should be taken into account in SCALE technology development

This publishable report reviews the existing legislation concerning health and safety issues related with the technologies and products to be developed in the project.

This publishable roadmap details the path for commercialization of innovative technologies and products leading to the development of a strong EU Sc sectorAn intermediate report is foreseen for month 18

LCA/LCC of SCALE technologies and case studies

In an intermediate report month 18 for the investigated technologies and process the detailed energy and material flows for the technologies and case studies are summarised and an initial impact assessment highlights the crucial processes and substances used and proposes potential improvements measures discussed with project partners The final report presents the estimated impacts related to derived products and compared to benchmark technologies and product sources and discusses potential further improvement areas of applications

European inventory of Sc containing by-products

This deliverable will summarize the information collected on Sc-containing by-products in Europe and will be published in the project web site.

ERES 2020 Conference organization

Organization of the third European Rare Earth Resources Conference ERES2020, which will include a Scandium specific session.

SCALE website, logo and dissemination kit

Launching and maintaining the public SCALE website, designing project logo, templates, and others as defined in Task 8.1.

Data Management Plan

Report on DMP produced in Task 8.3. A first version of the DMP will be provided at M4 of the project. Since DMPs are expected to mature during the project, a more developed version of the plan will be included as additional deliverable at M30. This new version will include improvements based on lessons learned during the first half of the project.
