Construction of typologies of sustainable energy consumption initiatives

Innovative typologies of energy initiatives will be developed in line with the theoretical and conceptual work in WP1, e.g. the Energy Cultures Framework will be utilised to classify initiatives according to whether they focus on a) socially shared norms regarding energy use, b) prevailing material culture, and/or c) existing energy practices. Additional typologies will also incorporate the four layers of the Resource Use Hierarchy (RCF) and distinguish between individual versus community-level change.
