Deliverables

Social life cycle Assesment

A social analysis of the materials and technologies will be conducted using social life cycle assessment (S-LCA). S-LCA will assess the social and socio-economic aspects of materials or processes and their potential positive and negative impacts along their life cycle. These aspects assessed in S-LCA are those that may directly or indirectly affect stakeholders, including workers, local community, consumers, value chain actors and society. S-LCA also follows a life cycle approach, but the impacts in this case are related to socio-economic processes and comprise human rights, working conditions, health and safety, socio-economic repercussion, and so forth.

Life Cycle Assesment

Report describing the application of the Life Cycle Assesment (LCA) methodology to evaluate the environmental burdens associated with a product or process by identifying and quantifying energy and materials used and wastes released to the environment; to assess the impact of those energy and material uses and releases to the environment; and to identify and evaluate opportunities for environmental improvements. LCA includes the entire life cycle of the product or process, which encompasses: extracting and processing raw materials; manufacturing, transportation and distribution; use, reuse and maintenance, and final disposal.

Final Dissemination and Communication Plan, including a Report on Training & Clustering activities
