Setting up Qualification and Continuing Education and Training Scheme for Middle and Senior Level Professionals on Energy Efficiency and Use of Renewable Energy Sources in Buildings

Assessment standards

Assessment standards will define the methodology and content of assessment of the learning outcomes that will be the basis for awarding certificate for successful participants in the education and training programmes.

Qualification standards defining learning outcomes of further education and training of targeted professionals

Qualification standards will define the learning outcomes of the education and training programmes for targeted professionals. These standards will be basis to build up the content of the education and training programme and are obligatory part for accreditation of the programmes. Qualification standards will be included in the national qualification frameworks.

Proposals for supporting measures

Final versions of proposals (one set for Slovakia and one set for the Czech Republic) for support measures aimed at motivating investments in competencies of middle and senior level building professionals on energy efficiency and use of renewables in buildings and on stimulating effective demand on the market in works and services delivered by highly qualified professionals.

Assessment standards (2) assessment of learning outcomes - trainers

Assessment standards will be developed for assessment of learning outcomes of the training of trainers. These standards will be basis for certifying trainers for delivering teaching activities within the developed education and training programmes.

Final Publishable Report

Final Publishable Report will summarise the work accomplished and the main achievements of the project. It will also describe the qualification and training schemes launched. It will list contacts for further information.

Conclusions from the national workshops for evaluating education and training programmes

Conclusions will be drafted from the evaluation of the education and training programmes to describe the feed-back received and outcome of the evaluation.

Forms for inserting a new entry into the database

Forms for inserting a new entry into the databases in the target countries will be developed and reviewed by legal adviser to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements on collecting and protecting personal data.

Workshop for validating the units of learning outcomes

Workshop will validate the final outcome of the work of team developing unit of learning outcomes.This units will be basis for developing qualification and assessment standards at national level and according to national requirements. These standards will be included in the national qualification frameworks.

Documentation for 5 education and training programmes

Complete documentation for 5 education and training programmes for middle and senior level building professionals on energy efficiency and use of renewables in buildings: learning and teaching materials, including pedagogical concept, learning text, list of study materials, methods to be used.

Project conferences in Slovakia and the Czech Republic

Project conferences (2 in total) will be organised in Slovakia and the Czech Republic to launch the national qualification, education and training schemes for middle and senior level building professionals on energy efficiency and use of renewables in buildings

Training courses for trainers

2 training courses will be delivered to train trainers (one in Slovakia and one in the Czech Republic) for delivering teaching activities within the developed education and training programmes.

Final Project Conference

Final Project Conference will be organised to assess the projects outcomes with key stakeholders and mobilised market actors. The conference will outline further activities to support further education and training in the construction sector aimed at increasing energy efficiency and use of renewables in buildings.

Inception workshop for developing units of learning outcomes

Inception workshop will define initial drafts of the learning outcomes - skills and knowledge - targeted by the education and training programmes. This will be done in an interactive way involving leading experts of the project partners.The units of learning outcomes will be basis for drafting qualification and assessment standards at national level to be included in the national qualification frameworks.

Meetings of the stakeholders' dialogue

Maximum 5 meetings in Slovakia and maximum 5 meetings in the Czech Republic of stakeholders' dialogue will be delivered to draft and negotiate proposals for support measures aimed at motivating investments in competencies of middle and senior level building professionals on energy efficiency and use of renewables in buildings and on stimulating effective demand on the market in works and services delivered by highly qualified professionals.

2nd Workshop with mobilised market actors

The partners will meet with mobilised market actors to review project implementation and work accomplished in setting up the national qualification and training schemes.Workshops will be organised at national level back to back to the meeting in WP1, task 1.2.

The partners will meet with mobilised market actors to review project implementation and work accomplished in setting up the national qualification and training schemes.Workshops will be organised at national level back to back to the meeting in WP1, task 1.2.

Training courses for targeted professionals

Regular courses of the new national qualification, education and training schemes for developing competencies of middle and senior level building professionals aimed at increasing energy efficiency and share of renewable energy sources in the energy mix of buildings. These courses will also deliver on number of trained professionals, as indicated in performance indicators.

National Workshops for Presenting Education and Training Programmes

Workshops at national level (2 workshops in total) will be organised with stakeholders to present and evaluate the developed education and training programmes and the roll-out plans for the qualification and further education and training schemes in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

Project web site

Project web site will be developed to disseminate information about the project and the project outcomes to public and professional audience.

Operational rules for database of awarded certificates

Databases of awarded certificates - i.e. successful trainees that passed assessment of the learning outcomes will be established in the target countries. To provide adequate and regulatory compliant protection of personal data and deliver on rights of included persons in the database, operational rules, including access rules, input of new entry, right to review an entry and deletion of an entry will be drafted and reviewed by legal adviser.

First round of education and training programmes

First round of education and training courses will be organised (one per each programme in the target countries) to demonstrate capacity and potential of the new national qualification, education and training schemes in developing competencies of middle and senior level building professionals aimed at increasing energy efficiency and share of renewable energy sources in the energy mix of buildings.
