A complete Geographic Information System GIS analysis IMDEA AGUA will we performed in order to predict suitable environments where our product could be installed The Geoportal provided by the INSPIRE Directive will be key for accessing spatial data sets and spatial data services This activity will be certainly benefited by the existence of a Geomatic lab at IMDEA AGUA facilities Create a European georeferenced database of wastewater treatment in small communities The database will be focus on discharges less than 2000 PE and or isolate or disconnected populations The database will be developed based in the information of the WaterbaseUWWTD Urban Watswater Treatment Directive the information of wastewater discharge points provided by the different River Basin Authorities and other localregional studies The participant members of the project collaborate in the collection of the data available in their own countries Create a European georeferenced database of conventional constructed wetlands in small communities with deepler information about the specific systems This database will be used in order to identify conventional wetland that could be transformed into MET with little and inexpensive modifications Develop a geographical analysis in order to identify suitable environments where METs could be installed This analysis will be based on the information provided by the Databases created ex professo and other environmental and socioeconomical aspects Previously the main variables related with the design and proper operation of MET technologies will be defined All the analysis will be carried out with free software as far as possible GVSIG inter alia The geographical information will be included in a Geoportal which will be developed under the INSPIRE rules
A communication and dissemination plan will be set up at the beginning of the project to identify the tailored strategy and the dissemination objectives activities tools and deadlines This strategy will help all the partners to stay focused on the key messages audience and stakeholders at all stages of their project activities Communication partner Minerva will work in close collaboration with IMDEA to ensure the effectiveness of communication and dissemination actions The impact of the communication and dissemination actions will be assessed through analysis of criteria established in the dissemination plan on quantitative and qualitative basis such as an approximate number of the website visitors the persons contacted and informed about the project initiative and any positive feedback collected media coverage These preliminary results will be taken into consideration also for eventual adaptation of the plan setup at the beginning of the project The impact assessment will be developed by YOURIS in close collaboration with all partners to get their feedback
