Cost Effective Neural Technique for Alleviation of Urban Flood Risk

Livrables

Data Management Plan

The USFD will produce a Data Management Plan to describe how the data produced during the testing of CENTAUR will be generated, quality checked, organised and preserved. It will contain policies on accessibility, standards for collection and curation, and its preservation. The plan will also contain a policy on when data can be considered “confidential”. This policy will be agreed by all partners and will be consistent with the Collaboration Agreement. The plan will follow the EU “Guidelines on Data Management in Horizon2020”.

CENTAUR Communication Plan

A comprehensive communication plan will be created at the start of the project to provide a strategy to communicate with three key groups; potential end users of CENTAUR, technical experts (engineers/academic researchers) and the general public. This plan will contain actions, targets and responsibilities along with a method for monitoring progress. This deliverable is based on the activities in Task 4.1. Its contents will be periodically reviewed and revised in necessary as the project develops.

Report on initial strategy for CENTAUR system deployment in Coimbra

A report detailing the initial strategy for pilot CENTAUR system deployment in the Coimbra network

Report on redundancy and impacts of data uncertainty and likely benefits of CENTAUR following virtual study

Report on redundancy, impacts of data uncertainty and quantification of benefits of a functional pilot CENTAUR system

Report on the CENTAUR installed in Coimbra

The Centaur pilot system will be installed in a sewer network in Coimbra. The installation process will be closely recorded. A report describing the experiences obtained during the CENTAUR installation in Coimbra so as to learn lessons for future installations will form this deliverable. It will be associated with the activities in Task 3.1.

Report on the performance of the pilot CENTAUR and recommendations

The report will describe the reduction in flood risk achieved based on observations during the monitoring of the pilot Centaur system and the modelling results from UoC. Staff from UoC/AG will report on the maintenance requirements of the system USFD will report on the ability of CENTAUR to ‘self-learn’ in the field. Recommendations for future work based on these experiences will be made. This deliverable will be based on the activities carried out in Task 3.2.

CENTAUR Web Site

A CENTAUR project website will be created providing details of the network partners, an outline of the research program, details of project outputs and trial results. The website will be aimed at an external audience and will link with the partners’ websites. It will provide information to those outside the project who would have an interest in the final CENTAUR system, and those interested in the scientific and technological studies carried out to deliver CENTAUR.
