Final Report Summary - CMSMURECOTRIGBSM (Muon reconstruction and trigger optimization towards early beyond the Standard Model discovery at the LHC with the CMS detector)
The project consisted of three main topics centred around searching for new physics phenomena with the Compact muon solenoid (CMS) detector at the CERN LHC collider, using signatures with muons in the final state. These topics were: studies of very energetic muons, studies of muon-based triggers and studies of muon timing.
