Written report on consumers’ and operators’ acceptance of bioLNG. It reports the acceptance of bioLNG by consumers and operators of LNG vessels and trucks in cargo and passenger transport based on interviews and a survey conducted by UGRAZ. The report will in particular identify fears and attitudes that might prevent potential applicants to widely establish bioLNG transportation but also motivations that will foster it.

The report adresses the development of a heat pipe cooled fixed-bed reactor for methanation that addresses small- to mid-scale synthesis based on the CFD model of Task 2.1. The report will also include the results of the catalyst screening from Task 2.2.
D51 Recommendations on Sustainability and Envronmental Impact AssessmentWritten recommendations on sustainability and envronmental impact assessment.The report will discuss the results from work package 4 in and the re-evaluation of the compliance of fossil and bioLNG with EU sustainability criteria, as defined e.g. in the Renewable Energies Directive (RED II) EU 2018/2001. It will summarize the framework of EU Taxonomy to indicate and assess legal barriers for upcoming European bioLNG production and to ensure legal compliance within the supply chain network.
