Multi-Dimensional Conceptual EPME Model and Research Agenda for Validation - final

A conceptual model of perception, emotion-regulation, decision-making and action in demanding and stressful situations will be modeled and described. A research agenda to validate the conceptual model with human factor studies will be outlined (Part 1).The created conceptual model will be validated, by testing the various premises of the model in real-world and virtual environment experiments (Part 2).

Strategies for Policy-Makers  

The strategy documents compiles materials that are relevant to policy strategies and decisions, help policy-makers understand requirements of medical first responder concerning training, and the pros and cons of virtual and mixed reality training methods and provide insights that can contribute to attain policy goals like improvement of resilience, efficiency and safety of medical first responder.

Smart Wearables for First Responder Monitoring  

Development of a wearable prototype for MFR monitoring during training. This wearable will be able to evaluate the stress generated by the MR simulation environment.

Development of a framework with interfaces for the integration of novel first responder technologies. The data management system supports data access to the central storage of the integration framework to retrieve the data for debriefing of training sessions and analysis of training performance
