Deliverables

Annual Advisory Board report and recommendations

The purpose of the second Annual Advisory Board report is to provide analysis on empirical results of the project

Forecast scenarios of media transformation in the participating countries and in Europe as a whole.

Deliverable provides scenarios of media transformation in the participating country groups. Deliverable explains the tensions between the goals and motives of content producers and users, as well as other actors. Deliverable also presents the verbal narratives of possible ROs scenarios.

Policy Brief

Deliverable presents media policy suggestions concerning the RO- scenarios of media landscapes in Europe.Deliverable includes also a plan for the round-table discussion at the final conference in Brussels

28 case study reports (two case studies per country): a) on re-search capability and quality (14) and b) on critical junctures of media development (14).

The aim of the 28 case study reports (two case studies per country) is: a) to provide analysis on research capability and quality concerning ROs. The case studies elaborate each domain of ROs concerning the quality of the data and knowledge; the main knowledge gaps concerning national research; national research capability; position of research and data collection units; potential for international co-operation. b) provide descriptions on critical junctures of media development in the 21st century (14). Each country team will develop a country case study on critical junctures in the transformation processes in four domains of ROs. National case studies include background chapter concerning social and political changes if these changes produce ROs, and a special sub-chapter on the agency of different actors in propelling certain ROs. These case studies will use previous research results as well as conduct expert interviews with key actors in media industry, politicians, experts on statistics etc.

Bibliographical database of media and journalism research related to ROs for deliberative communica-tion and a comparative analysis

The deliverable provides a bibliographical database of media and journalism research related to ROs for deliberative communication and a comparative analysis. . All this data will be assembled into one common combined bibliographical database, structured thematically and listed by the authors. Deliverable includes methodological explanation and link to the database.

Dissemination and Exploitation Plan

The deliverable provides overview on dissemination and publishing plans in international peerreviewd journals twp special issues included writing editing and publishing process of two books plans for presentations of results at international conferences small scale symposiums ans workshops ebooks and training matrials in national languages as well as podcasts

Review report on research capability and knowledge gaps by the groups of countries.

The deliverable focuses on research capability, data and knowledge gaps by groups of the countries concerning the four domains of the of the ROs. Analysis explains the formulation of country groups and provides a conceptual explanation of the reasons behind the knowledge related ROs.

Final annual Advisory Board report

The purpose of the final annual Advisory Port report is to evaluate the main results of MEDIADELCOM.
