How to engage citizens in the green revolution: join ‘inspiration event’ on European prosumerism
The first day of the conference is dedicated to sharing inspiration and the must-knows to support prosumerism — where communities or people produce and consume (and sell) their own green energy.
Under headlines such as “Making it work”, “Viable business models” and “Setting up of policies”, experts from Portugal, Germany, the UK, Italy and more will join the European Commission and the PROSEU project team for a 1.5-hour ‘inspiration event’ on prosumerism supported by [insert your organisation]. Join us there on February 2, 10:00-11:30 CET.
On the following morning, a dedicated dialogue session will take place (February 3, 10:00-11:30 CET) to give experts and practitioners a chance to discuss in detail some of the more salient Technical, Economic and Social aspects of prosumerism.
On February 4 (10:00-12:00), a dedicated Policy Exchange will involve policy makers from all levels of government (local, regional, national and European) to discuss the role of collective prosumers in reaching the 2050 European target for climate neutrality.

PROSEU is an EU-funded research project led by FC.ID – Associação para a Investigação e Desenvolvimento de Ciências, bringing together eleven project partners from seven European countries. It aims to enable the mainstreaming of the renewable energy Prosumer phenomenon into the European Energy Union. Prosumers are active energy users who both produce and consume energy from renewable sources.
