Join the International Human Epigenome Consortium (IHEC) Science Days 2018 in Hong Kong
Participants are invited to contribute to the scientific programme of the conference by submitting abstracts for poster presentations or rapid fire talks via the following link: http://ias.ust.hk/events/2018ihec/registration.html
The abstract submission deadline is 26 September 2018.
Registration for the IHEC Science Days will be open until 15 October 2018.

About the International Human Epigenome Consortium (IHEC)
If the genome is an instruction manual encoding all the biological functions of cells, then the epigenome is the set of annotations and side notes that further dictates how the instructions encoded by the genome are implemented and enforced. IHEC is a global consortium with the primary goal of providing free access to high-resolution reference human epigenome maps for normal and disease cell types to the research community. The epigenome reference maps will be of great utility in basic and applied research.
The data sets generated by IHEC are made available through the IHEC Data Portal (http://epigenomesportal.ca/ihec/). Moreover, the consortium has recently published a list of tools (http://ihec-epigenomes.org/research/tools/) developed by IHEC research teams that help the scientific community to navigate, analyse and interpret the extensive pool of existing data in order to encourage integrative analyses and data assessment.
After the successful completion of the BLUEPRINT project, the two running European research endeavours “MultipleMS” and “SYSCID” funded under the current Horizon 2020 programme are members of IHEC.
