Soil stakeholders’ conference

This event is a contribution of the European Commission to the World Soil Day 2016 aiming at raising awareness on the importance of soils and the ecosystem services that they deliver.
The conference will consist of two plenary sessions and four parallel working sessions. Keynote speakers and panellists will be invited to share their views on the way forward for EU soil policy.
In particular, the EU-funded RECARE, LANDMARK, SOILCARE, ISQAPER, SMARTSOIL projects will be showcased during a morning session entitled ‘State of play of soil legal framework and challenges’.
