EFFECT @ ESOF 2018: Follow us at the “Business and Entrepreneurship in Disruptive Science” Parallel Session!

In the context of the “EuroScience Open Forum” (ESOF) 2018 Edition in Toulouse, the EFFECT project will organise, in collaboration with the FET2RIN project, the parallel session “Business and Entrepreneurship in Disruptive Science” to be held on the 10th of July 2018 (10:00-11:30).

The round table discussion will address the emergence of breakthrough innovation resulting from research-driven approaches. Participants will do so by identifying the best practices and new ways of thinking the innovation chain as they take advantage of the first year of the European Innovation Council pilot. Different stakeholders – both researchers and innovation suppliers – will share their opinions on major needs and opportunities. Moreover, recommendations will be made for the next Research and Innovation Framework Programme. This will be moderated by Dr. Afonso Ferreira, Scientific Coordinator for International Affairs of the CNRS Institute for Computer Sciences, involving the European Business Network Association, the FET2RIN project coordinator, Meta Group, and one of the first FET Open SMEs selected as beneficiaries of the European Innovation Council pilot supporting measures.
