Download CORDIS data

CORDIS data can be downloaded or extracted in various formats, directly from a search results page.

2 options are available:

  • Download only the search results displayed

This option will download only the records that are displayed on a search results page. You can select the number of records per page (maximum 50) using the selector available at the bottom of the page:

Using the ‘Download search results’ menu in the functions toolbar, you can select a download format: XML or CSV

Using the ‘Download search results’ menu in the functions toolbar, you can select a download format: XML or CSV

  • Extract all search results

If you are logged in to CORDIS, you'll also have the option to extract and download all the search results in various formats: CSV, XSLX, JSON and XML.

If your search results contain more than one collection (for example: “News” and “Results in Briefs”), the data extraction will be available only in XML (one separate file per record).

When you launch an extraction, a pop-up will show your available options. You can choose your preferred formats and start the extraction, or cancel the process if you change your mind.

NB: Only one extraction can run at a time, so if you already have a running extraction, a warning message will ask you to decide if you really want to proceed, which will cancel the previous extractions.

Once the extraction is complete, you will receive an email notification. You can also check the extraction progress (or cancel it) at any time in the Data Extraction section of your profile

From there, you can download your latest extractions, re-launch them, or delete them.

Please note that extractions remain available for 24 hours, with a maximum of 5 extractions.
