Of absolute critical importance to the overall security of citizens, are the emergency services and the communication networks that they utilize. ShaMROCK has allowed to leverage the unique experience, skills and patented Push To Talk (PTT) technologies of Genaker in order to deliver the World ́s first broadband Professional Mobile Radio (PMR) system running over standard cellular networks with a full range of guaranteed communications. Such a system is just starting to be demanded by International Governments and by Critical Infrastructure Management Entities for usage by Emergency Services and Professionals to firstly, reduce costly dependency on dedicated networks, to secondly, increase communication resilience and cross-border management and thirdly, to support a new generation of point-of-use security and infrastructure protection applications.
Genaker is a European SME with a unique voice, video and data group communications cloud platform that thanks to the H2020 SME Instrument support has evolved to a Business and Mission Critical Push-to-Talk, Messaging and Video solution already being deployed in several big and demanding customers in Europe and other geographies.
This new product stands out thanks to its advanced prioritization, Quality-Of-Service engine and Multicast support, the only with such features already integrated with real customers.

The most tangible results at this stage are the prototypes branded as Business Critical PTT, already being piloted, and the Mission Critical PTT alpha, being finalised to be validated in our Pilot 3. Thus we have successfully secured three big pilots with three very relevant players with end users in our target markets. Two of them within our primary target geographies.
In ShaMROCK Genaker is completing the unique prioritization engine and the fastest instant voice group communication while protecting customer investments by ensuring interoperability with developing standards.
1. Full range of Prioritization options: Capacity to communicate and send video & data even on Saturated Cells. Genaker’s Mission Critical PTT dynamically ensures the network routes the conversations and combines with direct termnal-to-terminal communication and automatic fallback to transportable cellular hotspot for example in a public mobile network blackout situation.
2. Combined coverage of the different networks the solution can use, e.g. variety of legacy Professional Mobile Radio Networks, 2G, WiFi, 3G, 4G… with different optimisations for each of them.
With this solution Genaker makes the fast broadband Push-to-Talk (including messaging and video) over public 4G networks become true and overpass the robustness and user experience of Professional Mobile Radios currently used by Emergency and Security users.
We continue to patent our new IPR, to deeply test in targeted stakeholder pilots and to finalise our go-to-market plan through direct Market and Technology watches. ShaMROCK Project will form a key milestone in Genaker ́s plans to execute this identified high-value business opportunity which has the clear capacity to greatly increase our sales, to capture further investment and to further drive our SME to the global security stage.
