First implementation of software for PhasmaFOOD smart food analysis system

Deliverable reporting on the first implementation of the software for the smart system. This deliverable will provide definition and structure of PhasmaFOOD data analysis/machine learning algorithms and models (for data mining, analysis and reactive/proactive decision making) portfolio to be used in form of soft sensors deployed throughout PhasmaFOOD platform. An extended version of the deliverable will be provided to EC as confidential, providing the software package for algorithms and models for data analysis.

Sensing front-end sub-system implementation -v1

Deliverable reporting on the compliance to the system major requirements and optimization. An extended version of the deliverable will be provided to EC as confidential, documenting the fabricated sensing sub-system prototype, including a matrix of sensing devices and test of the optical functions. Initial version of the deliverable.

Hardware Processing Platform, Storage and Communication units integration -v1

Deliverable reporting on the strategies followed to integrate the different units in a single platform. An extended version of the deliverable will be provided to EC as confidential, documenting the hardware processing sub-system, including processing chips, memory units and communication modules into a single electronic board. Initial version of the deliverable.

Deliverable reporting on software solutions adopted to realize the sensory data management. An extended version of the deliverable will be provided to EC as confidential, documenting the software package targeting embedded algorithms, data processing for food analysis and communication data models and handlers. Deliverable reporting on the 1st fully operational prototype. An extended version of the deliverable will be provided to EC as confidential, documenting the 1st complete board embedding the 1st generation SiP co-integrating processing unit and PCB with the sensing array component and the communication module with the cloud-based smartphone application.

Final project report on dissemination and exploitation

This report will present a break-down of the dissemination and exploitation activities carried out during the second half of the project, and any updates to the data management plan.

Periodic management report - Period 1

This deliverable will provide definition for functional and system architecture of PhasmaFOOD cloud platform, data formatting techniques, API for transferring sensory and contextual data within PhasmaFOOD platform, data models for storing data in open cloud database and APIs for integration with available 3rd party open databases of sensory and contextual data relevant to PhasmaFOOD project goals.

Moreover, this deliverable will report results of implementation of PhasmaFOOD cognitive/context aware platform for food analysis based on algorithms, models and soft sensors defined in D4.2.

Final version of smart system design

This report will include the final design of the whole smart system as an outcome of all WP2 tasks. It will be the binding basis of system manufacture in WP5. This deliverable will include all the design files, including functional blocks and their description.

Data management plan

This report will present in detail which data is available to the public, as part of the open data pilot.
