Six high-level scientific publications in international journals

"This document will report on at least 6 high-level publications in ""gold"" open-access international journals and/or in the main international congresses of the PV and irrigation sectors. The publications will be in the deliverable but will be also available in the project website."

Four seminars to present the technical, economical, environmental and the market opportunities of the innovation

These seminars will be oriented to collectives representing potential end-users (associations of farmers, irrigation communties and agro-industries). This deliverable will report on the contents and the impact of the seminars in terms of potential end-users reached with this action.

Report about the developments for the Integration of Large PV pumps + Automatisms-ICT solutions-PA-Low pressure irrigation systems

Document describing the development of technical solutions for the communication between the components of the whole system with the objective of a correct integration of both previous developments Large PV pumps and automatic irrigation systems at TRL9

Technical specifications and quality control procedures for contractual frameworks

Document with a technical standard for large PV pumping systems including technical specifications and quality control procedures, ready to be included in contractual frameworks or tender calls. The technical specifications will be oriented to the bankability of the large PV pumping systems.

Report with the Life Cycle Assessment and the technical & economical validation of the first market application systems

Report describing the monitoring campaign of the first market application systems carried out for the technical and economical validation in order to show the long-term viability of this innovation. This validation will include the Life Cycle Assessment of each one of the five systems. It will also include a comparative analysis with the previous pumping systems.

Communication Plan

Document with a plan for the communication of the innovation to the different targetsIt will detail the target groups the channels to be used to reach them and the most important activities planned to promote the project and its findings and to achieve the market uptake of the innovative solution

Map of the irrigation potential in the South of Europe

A map of the PV water irrigation potential in the South of Europe, showing the potential of this innovation. It will allow the designers to assess the potential of this innovation in a certain region.

Document presenting the innovative solution in three collectives: irrigator communities; agroindustries and individual farmers

This deliverable will collect the presentations and documents prepared to disseminate the innovative solution among the three collectives representing the potential end-users of the solution. This document will be prepared to be a commercial tool.

Report describing the five first market application systems

Report describing each one of the 5 main irrigation applications in the market and the corresponding systems implemented in Spain Villena and Tordesillas Portugal Alentejo Italy Sardinia and Morocco Tamelelt Technical details of the components and the system as a whole will be included

Document with regulatory and political recommendations to drive the market of PV pumping for irrigation

Document with recommendations about regulatory and political strategies to drive the market of large PV pumping for irrigation. The regulatory recommendations will be focused to eliminate the administrative barriers that can impede a fast market uptake of the innovation. The political strategies that the document will recommend will be oriented to join the National and International institutions related with energy and water to the final goals of the project, that is, to reduce energy and water consumption in irrigation applications and to eliminate the political barriers affecting this innovative solution.

Document with possibilities and means to favour gender equality in the sector of PV pumping irrigation

Document about possibilities and means to favour gender equality in the sector of PV pumping irrigation, not only in Europe but also in the North of Africa. The document will analyse the rol of women in the world of irrigation and, in particular, in irrigation with PV and will propose measures to favour gender equality in this sector.

Three technical workshops about the innovative aspects of the solution

Each one of the universities will organize a technical workshop about the innovative aspects of the solution. This deliverable will consist of a report summarizing the content of the workshops as well as a evaluation of its impact in terms of attendees.

Document with financing schemes for large PV pumping

Document including financing schemes adapted to the large investments that this application requires in order to make easier the market uptake. It will be used as a marketing tool for end-users but also for financing institutions.

Three visits to each of the first market application systems

These visits will be focused on the following targets: - one visit focused on the technicians and decision-makers of the potential end-users. - one visit for the representatives of the public administration, associations and general public organizations. - one visit for potential investors, business angels and representatives of banks. This deliverable will report about the content of the technical visits and their impact in terms of number of representatives of the targeted collectives reached.

Development of the project website with a public part used for dissemination of the project results and a private part used for the partners communication

A short video and three presentations for the general public

Short video and three presentations for the awareness of the general public about the high environmental and social value of energy and water. They will link this value with the results of MASLOWATEN.

ETV accreditation

ETV accreditation to provide objective and reliable evidence on the performance of this innovative solution. The ETV accreditation will be asked for to an external institution. The deliverable will be prepared to be shown to the potential purcharsers of the innovation and to get their confidence.

Toolbox for the design and simulation of Large PV pumping systems

Open-source design and simulation toolbox for Large PV pumping irrigation systems allowing the estimation of its productivity and profitability. The toolbox will be available in the project website for free use but it will be possible to download the open-source code.
