Deliverables
Specifications for the datasets, corrosion models, weather condition models, diagnosis, prognosis, decision support and fault tolerant control that are employed and/or developed in WP3 and WP4 will be defined. Six groups of specifications are considered: Features to be measured; Influent collateral inputs; Application related specifications; Integration/Deployment of algorithms; Fault tolerant control; Data management.
Corrosion models definition and validationD31 will report a public PU versin of the definition of corrosion and coating degradation models relevant for the environmental conditions and material under study Coating degradation and corrosion will be described as a function of time
Decision Support System as CBM tool for WT structuresD34 will report the main features and characteristics of the Decision Support System DSS Software as ConditionBased monitoring tool for WT structures and will also report the validation of this new DSS at simulation level
Corrosion testing in fieldSamples of structural steel with and without protective coating systems will be prepared and exposed at real environmental conditions producing corrosion that will be measured to specify corrosion phenomena. It will be the result of subtask 1.3.2.
Integration and test of the monitoring design, communications and mobile platformD25 will report the results of the integration of the components developed in tasks T21 T22 and T23 It will include The integration and test of the dronebased platform blocks the integration and test of the second solution of the monitoring system with the communications module the integration and test of the first solution of the monitoring system with the communications module the integration of the monitoring system including communications with the dronebased mobile platformThe frequency bandwidth of the ultrasound smart sensor will be in the range of 100 200 kHz and the sensor will have a frequency in the range of 5 10 MHzThe monitoring platform is expected to have a weight of maximum 500 gramsThe communication platform will achieve an effective range of around 80 meters and support a maximum data rate of 250 kbps
Fault Tolerant Wind Turbine ControlD35 will report a review on the developed algorithms and software components whose goal is to control individual wind turbines in a fault tolerant way In particular both faults at individual wind turbine components levels and the turbine structural health status based on corrosion measurements and predictions will be considered
Design specifications for stochastic WF control including optimal O&MThe output will be a set of design specifications for the WF controller, including: Definition of the baseline control and O&M architectures; Effectiveness of the controller in use cases and scenarios; Concept study of mitigating control strategies.
Results of the replicability and transferability analysis in the ocean sectorD56 will report the analysis of the replicability and transferability of WATEREYE knowledge technologies and results studying their appliance in several of the other sectors of offshore energy such as wave energy tidal energy ocean thermal energy and other potential ocean applications
Services for data acquisition, storage and accessD3.3 will report the definition of the infrastructure to store the data required by downstream application: wall thickness, historical data from other wind turbines, environmental conditions, wind turbine operation conditions. SWC will also develop and deploy a semantic layer on top of the database to facilitate access to data by prognosis and diagnosis tools and decision support system.

Smart corrosion sensors &communications specificationsDetailed specification of the smart corrosion sensors and communications platform. It will be the result of subtask 1.3.1.
Weather and Operation Forecast toolD3.6 will report a public (PU) versión of the main characteristics of the weather and operation forecast tool developed from the Weather Research and Forecast model coupled with the WT simulation package FAST to generate forecast data both starting from actual conditions, and also from relevant extreme conditions in order to analyse different what-if scenarios.
